Competitions at Imperial

Programm/able is a software and business competition organised by Imperial Innovations and Imperial Enterprise Lab.

Staff and students from across Imperial College London are invited to submit software-based projects with commercial potential and at an early-stage of development. Judged on criteria that included technical ingenuity, commercial opportunity, and potential impact, selected teams are offered a chance to pitch their product or business idea to a panel of entrepreneurs, experts, and industry heavy weights, with a chance at winning a cash prize. Finalists also receive 1-on-1 business advice from Innovations and the Lab.

Programm/able had its first run in 2017. The competition attracted solutions to challenges such as food security, accessible transport, and energy management. The winning pitch at the final event will be offered a £10,000 Proof-of-Concept fund.
