This week, Innovations Surgeries @ Hammersmith will take place onWednesday, 14 February, from 12:00 to 14:00 in the Wolfson Café.
What are Innovation Surgeries?
Innovation surgeries are informal drop-in sessions with members of Imperial Innovations' technology transfer team. You can use them to discuss ideas, find out information about the support we offer, or get answers to specific questions related to translational funding or intellectual property protection. They can be a good way to make first contact if you have an invention you wish to discuss, or simply a way to set up a more formal discussion in future.
What can you help me with?
In general, we will be able to help you with any questions you have in relation to intellectual property and technology commercialisation. A list of things you might want to ask us is below:
- How can I get a patent?
- Can you help me with a translational funding application?
- Does my idea have commercial potential?
- What support is available from Imperial Innovations?
- What support is available for entrepreneurship across Imperial College London?
- What can I disclose about my invention?
Don't be put off if your question isn't on the list - we can help with most things and point you to other resources, too.
Where are they held?
We will be holding Innovation Surgeries across Imperial's campuses. You can find a list of upcoming surgeries at the bottom of the page.
When are they happening?
We will hold Innovation Surgeries at different times to give staff with varying work schedules the chance to attend. You can find a list of upcoming surgeries at the bottom of the page.
I have a question for you but don't have time to attend an Innovation Surgery - what should I do?
You can email us at email@example.com - this inbox is monitored 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday. You may also use the form at the bottom of this page.
