Prior to joining Imperial Innovations Uduak worked at the University of Surrey as an IP Officer, engaging in IP portfolio management, contracts drafting and negotiation, and worked closely with the research community identifying opportunities for exploitation from research outputs. She previously completed a number of internships in patent firms in France and Germany, and gained experience at the European Patent Office, developing and delivering training to IP Professionals. Uduak volunteers at Public Interest Intellectual Property Advisors as an IP Corp which involves providing IP expertise on a pro-bono basis for public interest organisations in developing countries.
Uduak holds a BSc in Physiology & Pharmacology from the University of Westminster and an MSc in Biotechnology, Bioprocessing and Business Management from the University of Warwick. She has trained in IP law at Brunel University and developed a proficiency in French and German through studies in Paris, Bordeaux, and Munich.
