Prior to Innovations, Freddy worked as Senior Innovation Consultant at Inventya, a North West based management consultancy advising SMEs and entrepreneurs on intellectual property and business strategy. He also managed the exploitation activities of three multi-million EU-funded Collaborative R&D projects. He gained experience in technology transfer at the University of Salford and at the spinout Carbon Air Ltd.
Freddy began his career working as trainee patent attorney at GENFIT, a French biopharmaceutical company focusing on the management of the patent portfolio in the fields of medicinal chemistry and biomarkers. He graduated from Lille University of Science and Technology with a BSc in Cell Biology & Physiology and a Master’s degree in Neuroscience, Physiopathology, and Biotechnology. He has trained in Patents, Trademarks and Designs Law at the Centre for International Intellectual Property Studies in Strasbourg. Freddy is certified PRINCE2 and trainer in intensive business modelling.
