Imperial College London has a policy of rewarding all inventors to reflect their contribution to an invention
Imperial operates an IP policy that is in keeping with that used by other UK institutions and most UK companies. Inventions made by College employees as part of their duties as employees become the property of the College. However, unlike most industrial companies, Imperial operates a 'Rewards to Inventors' scheme.
The Rewards for Inventors policy is implemented by the Imperial College Research Office, and questions about it should be forwarded to the Director of IP and Research Contracts.
The Imperial College London Research Office maintains a website which includes information on the Rewards to Inventors scheme among many other topics.
