We are an active investor from inception to exit. We provide operating experience, financial backing, market knowledge and place great emphasis on building experienced management teams.

Investments originate from Imperial College London or other research organisations including universities, government laboratories and industry. In particular, the group's investment focus is on technology innovations from the universities of Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial College London and University College London.

Our highly focused approach:

• we are prioritising six to ten companies to ensure they have strong boards, management teams and are well capitalised
• we are developing the next ten companies with a view to moving them to a credible exit or next inflexion point
• we are continuing to create and seed fund companies at a rate of four to six per year
• we are aiming for one large exit each year, with two to three smaller exits
