Companies seeking first round funding and beyond are expected to have demonstrated the following:

• Recruitment of an experienced CEO and CTO
• A strong and effective board including an experienced Chairman
• Financial controls and responsible financial management
• Resolution of initial technical risk in relation to intellectual property
• A clear, credible and commercial business plan
